16 Week Update from BabyCenter.com:
At 4 1/2 inches long (head to bottom) and 3 1/2 ounces, your baby is about the size of an avocado. In the next three weeks, she'll go through a tremendous growth spurt, doubling her weight and adding inches to her length. The patterning of her scalp has begun, though her hair isn't recognizable yet. Although closed, her eyes are moving (slowly), and she's even started growing toenails. Her fingernails and toenails will continue to grow, so don't be surprised if she needs them trimmed soon after birth.

This morning I came across the article posted below on Yahoo about pets and new babies. I think Dolly is going to have a very hard time! I will admit she is SPOILED. So I am adding the tips listed in this article on my to do list, but I don't know if I can stick to these!
No matter how much you plan ahead, the addition of a new family member may be difficult for your pet. Remember, your dog or cat was your first "baby" and is used to being the center of your attention. So it's understandable that she may experience something akin to sibling rivalry when you introduce a new human baby into your household.
You can minimize this feeling by working with her before you bring home your baby. For example, because your new baby will demand a lot of your time and energy, gradually accustom your pet to spending less time with you. Drastically decreasing attention and frequently scolding, ignoring, or isolating your pet after the baby comes home will likely make your pet feel stressed. If your pet is particularly attached to the mother-to-be, another family member should develop a closer relationship with the animal. That way, the pet can still feel loved and provided for while mom is busy with the baby.

15 Weeks and Counting...
15 Week Update from BabyCenter.com:
Your growing baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces (about the size of an apple). She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although her eyelids are still fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but she is forming taste buds. Finally, if you have an ultrasound this week, you may be able to find out whether your baby's a boy or a girl! (Don't be too disappointed if it remains a mystery, though. Nailing down your baby's sex depends on the clarity of the picture and on your baby's position. He or she may be modestly curled up or turned in such a way as to "hide the goods.")

Porter -- We Miss You!!!
So with all that comes with showing your house when you go to sell...real estate agents strongly advise that your pets not be there when they show the house. Dolly who is normally roaming around the house, looking through the windows, barking at the mailman is now confined to her kennel during the day and Porter has been shipped off to stay with Lee's parents for a little bit (a huge thanks to Honey and Big Lee for babysitting). Porter is more of Lee's dog than mine, but I have definitely been missing this guy since he has been gone!!

A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That
I am a blogging slacker! We have been super busy trying to sell the house. So far we have received a good bit of calls and traffic now that we have listed with an agent. I will take that as a positive sign given the overflow of houses for sale right now in Montgomery. The house we have had our eye on in Selma is still on the market. Hopefully it will stay that way for a little while longer.
Other things going on...let's see...well one of our main reasons for starting this blog was to keep up with Lee's sister, Amanda, and her husband, Jerry, who are in the process of adopting. After a super long process (2 years!) of filling out paperwork after paperwork, Amanda and Jerry finally got an appointment date to go to the Ukraine and adopt their children and our future nieces or nephews!!! We are so excited for them and can not wait for March 11th to get here so they can finally meet their children. Most likely they will be in the Ukraine for 2 months in order to complete the process. Please continue to pray for Amanda and Jerry as their journey is really just beginning!

Baby C Update!
Well we had our 12 week doctor's appointment today. Everything looked great. I had a small cyst that showed up on my last ultrasound that Dr. Miller still wants to keep an eye on. There is one great thing about the cyst, it has allowed me to have an ultrasound performed at each visit so Dr. Miller can monitor it and which in turn allows us to see Baby C more often. It was amazing to see how much Baby C has changed from the last visit. We were able to see the face, arms, legs, etc. The heartbeat is holding strong at 153 bpm.
Our next visit is February 6th and we will get to find out whether Baby C is a boy or girl. We can not wait!!! We have had the strong feeling that it is a boy so we will see whether we are proved right.

Lots of Updates
Some of you probably know this, but for those that do not, Lee took a new position (and promotion :)) with BankTrust in Selma. With that being said, we are trying to move down there. We are so excited...this move will allow us to be so much closer to family and friends! My job is going to allow me to work in Montgomery 2 days a week and the rest from home. How awesome is that??? That will be such a help with a new little one on the way. My work has been so supportive which has been great.
We have our house listed in Montgomery and are hoping it sells quick b/c after a few months I am defnitely not going to be much help packing, haha. For the past few weeks, we have been swamped with cleaning and getting the house ready to sell. We did so much work to our little house in Montgomery, I am really going to miss it! I posted some photos below of our house, if you know anyone in Montgomery looking to buy, definitely let us know.
