Toddler Treats

One very fun thing about Kylie being in the toddler class this year is that they now have little school parties. They are really cute and it is fun because all of the kids really can tell that the day is special. All of the parent's sign up for holiday party at the beginning of the year. Mine is the Thanksgiving party, but I am sending some cute treat bags to her Halloween party on Thursday for her friends.
I thought they turned out cute. It was hard to find Halloween treats for one year olds, so I went with goldfish, a box of raisins, and some Teddy Grahams.

Oink Oink

Well I got her to wear the costume! And I got one semi-successful picture before the hat came off! Haha.

Pumpkin Pickin'

Today we went to the little Pumpkin Patch at St. Paul's to pick out our pumpkins. It was lots of fun. Kylie had a great time with all of the orange "balls". We ended up with two pumpkins for the front porch and two mini pumpkins for baby girl. She had a great time and it is crazy to see how much she has grown from this time last year!

This time last year our pics looked like this
TIME FLIES! Happy fall y'all!!!!

Trick or TREAT?????

Definitely Treat! Kylie's fairy godmother and godfather surprised her with an early Halloween treat today! They are always so sweet and thoughtful. Thank you both very much, we love you and Kylie is so blessed to have such amazing godparents!
How cute is her treat basket and goodies??

15 Months

Kylie went to the pediatrician this morning for her 15 month check up. She turned 15 months last week on October 7th. She is such a little girl now, it is hard to believe. Every day brings some new discovery. Her favorite things are balls, dogs, her grandparents, music, babies and dancing.
Her personality is starting to shine. She really goes from one extreme to the next. One minute she is dying to go outside and play ball or ride on the lawnmower and the next she is strolling her baby or giving her baby a bottle. She is really trying to communicate more even though her favorite words are still dog and ball. Haha. She also likes to shake her head "no" alot even when she usually means "yes". We are trying to work on this. One of my big pet peeves is children that always say "no"...I can not stand that!!! I am sure she will start the "no" thing now that I have posted, haha. Hope not!
Lee and I are enjoying every minute. She is so cute and funny. Honey and I tried to start out Christmas shopping on Sunday and Kylie went with us. She was a complete handful. All over the place. I will be doing all of our Christmas shopping online this year. It is much different than last year when I could tote her around in the infant carrier. Now she is trying to climb out of the buggy or run down an aisle! Haha. Here are a few pics from this weekend. As you can see she loves being outside, balls and dogs!

Central Alabama Fair 2009

Last night we took Kylie to the fair. We had a great time. She LOVED everything!! From the lights, to the rides, to the petting zoo, the food...you name it she loved it. All of our friends went last night too, so we got to hang out with everyone and let kids play. Kylie really enjoyed the merry-go-round and I enjoyed riding the Predator and boat that swings really high with my friend, Laura Beth. A good time was definitely had by all.
A little overwhelmed when we first arrived

This Ferris wheel was bought at the 1991 auction of Michael Jackson's Neverland Estate

Thank you Selma Lions Club for a great time! We will be back next year!

More Football

Weekend before last, Lee and I ventured to Tuscaloosa to spend the weekend with friends and go to the Bama vs. Arkansas game. We had so much fun! We stayed close to campus with Mark and Sara Kathryn and had so much fun seeing old friends. It rained pretty much all day on Saturday on and off which made the Quad a huge a mud pit, but despite the nasty weather a good time was had by all. We are really enjoying being able to go to more games this year. Kylie of course had a blast at Honey and Paw-Paw's house in Tuscaloosa while we were at the game. We are taking her to Homecoming next week which should be a blast!

The boys getting ready to head to the stadium

Bryant Denny Stadium (and yes, for the millionth time I do know that I went to Auburn BUT I will admit their stadium is really pretty to me - brings back lots of childhood memories since I went to almost every single Bama home game before going to school at Auburn)
The girls decided to watch the game at the Gallettes

Catching up with friends at Innisfree Friday night

Shoe Fetish

Most girls I know have a thing for shoes, I do not happen to be one of them. I would much rather have a nice top versus shoes. My daughter, however, like most girls I know loves shoes. Kylie always points to her shoes and tries her hardest to put them on. Last night I left a pair of brown wedges in the den and next thing I know my toddler is walking by me clicking her heels on the hardwoods. It is pretty funny, but so foreign to me since I am not a shoe person. I will admit it is much more fun looking at shoes for her. Check out these cuties:
I think she would LOVE some rain boots and how cute are these??

And I think these are super cute for winter

And these because every girl needs some sparkles (I probably couldn't get her to take these off)
I have been on the look-out for some pink cowboy boots in her size but have had no luck. I found all of these at Little Monkey Toes. Great site for shoes!
