Valentine's Day Cards

Our parents received special Valentine's Day cards this year from Kylie!!
Yep, Baby Calame #2 will be here in September. We are very very excited, but I must admit the thought of having two has still not quite set in. Haha! I went to the Doctor last week and heard the heartbeat. It was much lower than Kylie's, I think her's was in the 150s and Baby #2 was only in the 120s. I told Lee maybe this was a sign for a more laidback newborn =). I was nervous about posting this since I am still so early in, but we couldn't wait any longer. Sorry for the blurry picture, I had to scan this picture in at my office.

Also - it is really hard to tell in this picture, but Kylie's dress has "Big Sister" smocked in blue. It is precious! Better pictures to come.

Baby's Got Her Blue Jeans On

Kylie owns one pair of jeans. I am not a fan of babies in jeans, but given she likes going to the camp house with her Daddy, jeans are only appropriate! They are pretty cute!

Just some pictures

I started going through my camera and realized over the past two weeks that we have been couped up inside, I have attempted to take some pictures of Kylie. Our days have pretty much been spent playing with new Christmas toys, playing in the warm bath tub and trying to get the house organized (pack up old toys, clean out closets, etc).
Taking a bubble bath
Playing in her room
Enjoying her 1st Happy Meal
Making HUGE messes
Helping Clean-Up
And just being silly

Ready for Spring

Speaking of Spring time...it is that time again for our Spring/Summer Beaux et Belles clothing show. My friend, Beth and I will be showing the clothes here in Selma January 21st-23rd. To get a preview of some of the Spring/Summer smocking plates please visit here: http://www.thebeauxetbellesconnection.com/slideshow.htm.

I have ordered and bought lots of smocked/appliqued stuff for Kylie and this stuff is by far the best quality and most unique. I love that her things are different especially because they are not cheap. Check it out and if any blogger friends see something they like please send me a message. There are tons of great brother/sister options too which can be hard to find.

The link above shows the plates, style and fabric options. Below are a few pics of some samples for this season. It is so cute!! This is only a small glimpse at the clothes. Remember you can get any fabric, any style and any smocking plate. Ex: if you see one plate you like in a dress but would rather have it in a bubble that is no problem! And any smocking plate can be put on a t-shirt.

Couped Up

Wow- it is FREEZING outside! We have all been couped up inside our house for the past week. It is beginning to drive me crazy and I am counting down until Spring. Most of our days have been spent making pallets in the floor, watching movies, and playing with new Christmas toys. So this means I have watched Nemo now approximately 6,713,851 times...I know every word. So sad. We have gotten some new movies but when I put them in the DVD player Kylie will raise her arms up and look at me saying Nemo. She knows when I try to sneak in something else. Below are some pictures from what we have been doing - watching Nemo and taking care of "Melmo".

Christmas 2009

We had a great Christmas this year!! Last year was fun, but this year was so much more fun and exciting since Kylie was so excited. She slept till 8:30 (she is usually a late sleeper) so Lee and I both had time to get dressed and even cook breakfast before getting started Christmas morning which was really nice. After opening presents at our house we went to Demop to eat lunch with my fam. It was such a fun day. Kylie was so cute and we managed to get some great home videos this year, we have been awful at getting out that camera. Enjoy a few pics. Merry Christmas from our family to yours!href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIe1s8BYkvH1PKgXdXtinQ0J4DYefA7TxbAVupmEdNweRQWJ93l4NL6PJTgT1Jnqlbu-5lXs_aQsDdVBmCLE3xl7UTDlvdWFU3m_4fRBe5HTt8IrgI32nnXmGajPPWtVMSgv_PGjWl-PLt/s1600-h/Christmas+2009+155.jpg">
Merry Merry! Now to figure out where are we going to put all of this stuff???? Haha!

Traditions

One thing I love about this time of year is all of our family holiday traditions. Every year my grandmother comes to my house to help me do some holiday baking for Lee's bank and our neighbors and friends. She came over last Saturday and we exceeded our baking record!!! We made over 300 pieces of candy and cookies. It was a long but fun day. Here are a few pictures of some of the goodies we made.
Now for a few pictures of Miss Priss...
Watching Nemo -- we watch Nemo at least 3 times a day. She loves that little fish.
Showing off her reindeer antlers that she got at her school Christmas party
