Fun Football Weekend

What a fun weekend! On Friday, Kylie's school had patriotic day in remembrance of 9/11 so she went decked out in red and of course was in full Alabama attire ready for the football weekend. That afternoon, after Lee got home from work, we loaded up and headed to Demopolis to see my parents and cook-out. While visiting, I had a call from Mary Grace saying that Kyle was a little under the weather and would not be able to go to the Bama game. So after making sure that my mom could watch Kylie since Lee and my dad were going dove hunting, I made a quick trip to the Perfect Touch on Saturday to get a shirt to wear and off to Livingston I went to meet up with the crew and head to T-town. We had so much fun! Our friend, Daisy, was so sweet and asked us to sit in her family's box. That is always a treat!! I had such a good time seeing girlfriends most of which I had not seen in a year. We had a blast and I cannot wait to go back for the Bama/Arkansas game in 2 weeks.

Labor Day 2009

This weekend we traveled with my mom's side of the family to Pickwick Lake in Tennessee. We had a wonderful time. My mom's oldest sister drove over all the way from San Antonio and I was so glad to visit with her. She got to meet Kylie for the
1st time too, so that was special. I did not get very many pictures of our trip but here are a few:

Someone also discovered powdered donuts on our trip...

BTO

I got an email forwarded to me this morning that I thought was too funny not to share. The email was from one of Lee's pledge brothers that currently lives in Gadsden, AL. The email was a forward that he sent to a bunch of their college buddies. The email read:
"Well fellows, looks like one of us out of the group has officially become a Big Time Operator. See attached picture."
I clicked on the attachment and this appears:

I did spot this a few weeks ago on the Hwy and meant to take a picture. Haha. I think it is pretty funny. Even more funny is Lee's title of BTO to his friends.

Fall is in the air

Finally fall is drawing near. We are ready at our house. To get in the fall spirit, we attended the Morgan Academy football game on Friday night. It was a lot of fun! Kylie loved running around and getting to see the cheerleaders. We only made it mid-way through the 3rd quarter but had a wonderful time. It was totally different than my high school football games since the school is so smaller. It was a great atmosphere and I am really excited about Kylie going to Morgan later on.

Also since we are ready for Fall and very much looking forward to kick-off this weekend, I thought I would make over the blog for the upcoming season! Also keep scrolling down for several new posts.

Oh Baby Baby

Well we are now into babies. It is so funny how early girls learn to be motherly. Kylie goes and gets her baby doll, attempts to put her in the stroller (usually head first), gives her a bottle, hugs, and gives her kisses. She has this one baby that is naked and is really meant as a doll to play in the tub with, but it is her favorite. Looks like we maybe in the market for a doll and some accessories for Christmas.

Just for fun

Since I am so behind in blogging, I am posting a few random pictures I found on my camera of Kylie. My camera is back up and running so I am good to go now!

Outside Girl

Kylie loves the outdoors. If you pick up a pair of keys you can bet she will beat you to the door waiting to go out. Her Daddy loves this because this means the river house, camp house and the farm are a few of Kylie's favorite places to visit.

She loves to rides in the Bad Boy Buggie with my grandparents and Porter

She has figured out that if she carries around Porter's yellow fetch thrower then he will follow her around which she L.O.V.E.S!
