Poor thing! Kylie has had a really bad cough this week. Since we were scheduled to have her 6 month check-up today I figured we would just try to make it until today to bring her into see the Doctor. Come to find out - she still has not been able to get rid of the double ear infections and the infection/drainage from her ears is what is causing her to cough!! We have had these same ear infections for a month now. So she will being taking a much much stronger anitbiotic starting tonight and if that does not clear it up will be sent to a pediatric ENT in Birmingham. She is eating well and playing well, but not sleeping as good and a little more fussy than usual. I really hope this antibiotic will work. I do not want to visit everyone hospital in the state of Alabama before she is even one year old!!!!!!!!!! haha.
As for the 6 months stats:
Weight: 17 lbs - 70th percentile
Height: 27 in - 83rd percentile
Head circumference: 50th percentile
Other than the ear infections, she got a great report. We were hoping to get off of Nutramigen this month and go to a regular, less expensive formula but we will be unable to do that until she is well.
